Gideon So for Noughts & Exes at Hidden Agenda in Hong Kong. This keyboard/vocalist also plays with a cool band called Merriweather Deer, which recently opened up for The Flaming Lips in Hong Kong.

Today the Hildegunn Gjedrem group launches their kickstarter campaign for her second album! This modern age is so beautiful in how ideas are shared. Hill is from Norway, went to school in Texas, now lives in New York and I’m blogging from Hong Kong to share this amazing project she’s working on with one of my favorite bassists and producers, Mike League of Snarky Puppy.  She says (and sings) it best in the video below, but at the very least you’ll want to back the project and get a copy of the album in advance of the official release. That way, you’ll be one of the cool kids like me (just backed it!) Other backing amounts will get you dinner with the band, songs written for you, a spot in the liner notes and even a place on Hill’s guest list for any of her shows for 2 years!
