It’s going to rain

Bring your umbrella, it’s going to rain tonight. Unfortunately, that means our little stop motion project will have to wait. We wanted to have The Peak and Victoria Harbor in it, but visibility is very low. Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Did you say Chocolate?

This was probably my favorite shot I took of staff at the Jasmine Star Wedding at the Theo Chocolate Factory in Seattle. Laurence, you rock!

Yo Chase, you forgot your shades!

We’re about to be on day three of shooting the Jasmine Star wedding for Creative Live. Chase Jarvis dropped by to introduce the lovely soon-to-be married couple Laura & Billy, and forgot his iconic sunglasses and his Ipad. We kept our hands of the Ipad, but we couldn’t pass up the fun opportunity to put ourselves in someone elses shoes – or eyes in this case – for a few minutes. Enjoy the photos we gathered!

On a sidenote, I chatted (in an official Creative Live capacity) with an amazing photographer from Mexico City who wrote a nice review in Spanish about CL: Michelle Bres.

Lia + Daragh

My youngest sister Lia married Daragh in Vietnam at the Hanoi International Church with a reception at Puku. It was a lovely (humid) day, after a stormy night. I was pulling double duty playing trumpet and taking a few photographs. All the siblings have been married off and I’m the only one that remains. It’s not quite time to lasso down this free spirit, but for Lia and Daragh the time has come and I wish them the very best in their nascent union.

Love, bro.

Gigging in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

I just returned from playing a music gig (on trumpet) in Kuala Lumpur for Malaysian Royalty. It was a heap of fun! The schedule was basically eat, nap, eat, nap, eat sleep, rehearsal, eat, nap, gig, eat, sleep, eat, run up the tower and come back to Hong Kong. Very fun, and very yummy. I shot these images in between sets at the Shangri-la hotel.

This second shot is of Niño on saxophone
