It seems obvious that functional items like clothing and cookware have historically been embellished to make our everyday lives more comfortable and fun. Why is then that Virgin America is one of the few airlines that does the same with inflight safety videos? (That’s a rhetorical question, in case you were wondering) Enjoy the video I watched on a recent flight from San Francisco to Seattle:
Video by the Anomaly Agency in New York. My personal best experiences with Airlines have been with Emirates and Virgin America.
I’ve been in hiding this past week somewhere between the Golden Gate bridge and Angel Island – arrived this morning in Seattle on a Virgin America flight from San Francisco and it was fabulous! Tomorrow (well, in 8 hours anyway) I’m going to be supporting Jasmine Star’s Creative Live workshop on wedding photography, which will be broadcast over the next four days. This video is an introduction to the concept.
I’m spending a few days in Portland being creative with my friends Curious Doodles and Diskgrunt. We’ve been photo-taking and riding bikes and running all over town. This place has lots of gardens for the pollinators, loads of yummy food for your mouth and eyes, and beautiful days that seem to last forever. I might have to make a stop through here next year…
I just came from Seattle, but that’s top secret for the moment. Tomorrow, I’m going straight to San Francisco (no pun intended).
Yesterday I was in Danang, today I’m in Hanoi, tomorrow I’ll be in Hong Kong and by Monday I’ll be in Seattle. It’s time to hang with Chase Jarvis & Friends.
This is your typical Rooster in the Philippines checking out a book by Chase Jarvis titled “The Best Camera (is the one that’s with you)” – this was part of the contest I entered and won, for a trip to Seattle to meet Chase Jarvis and friends and collaborate creatively. See the original post here. I’ll be posting more of these images periodically, because if they’re half as fun to look at as they were to shoot then that’s still awesome
